It's been a few weeks of uni now and assignments are starting to pile up. It's not difficult, but takes some time. A few courses I took on turned out to be quite similar to courses I've already taken, so I'm now considering on dropping one or two, but I don't yet know which. To keep up the interest in studying, I enrolled to honours level courses on Topological Groups, Advanced Machine Learning and Integer Programming, the goal being to get at least something useful out of uni.
By the photos above, I guess you can tell where I was last weekend. We had a great time, except for the chilly and rainy weather. We went to see the usual sights: the Harbour area, the Gardens, Chinatown, Sydney Tower and the seafloor Aquarium. The big event of the weekend was the Mardi Gras, which attracted an unbelievably huge crowd on the streets.
At the Sydney Aquarium you could walk under water in glass-covered corridors. They had sharks, rays and a lot of fish from the Great Barrier Reef. A cool place to see if you're in Sydney for a few days.
Finally, I've got a few photos from Hyde Park and the Chinese Gardens.
That's some Sydney for you!
